Dates and times subject to changes, weather and maintenance schedule. During range closures, the putting green and short game area are open unless snow-covered. Mondays and Tuesdays and during golf tournaments, the practice range is set on artificial turf. Fossil Trace Golf Club does not provide equipment for practice range use.
The practice range will be mats only EVERY DAY beginning Monday, October 21. During the Fall months, the range may be delayed in opening due to morning frost. The end times listed below are when the last bucket is sold / range doors close.
October 9 – 19 — Sunrise until 6:00pm
October 20 – 29 — Sunrise until 5:45pm
October 30 – November 2 — Sunrise until 5:30pm
November 3 – 17 — 9:00am until 4:30pm
November 18 – December 31 — 9:00am until 4:15pm

Fossil Trace Golf Club has diverse facilities to accommodate all golf shots you need to practice and warm-up for your day at Fossil Trace. The anchor of the Fossil Trace practice area is a 10,000 sq. ft. 3-tiered putting green that provides a uniquely entertaining challenge for golfers. The undulation of surface mimics the greens on the course so you can properly prepare for your round.
The 2,600 sq. ft. short game area adjacent to the putting green features target flags, greenside practice bunker, rough, and manicured chipping/pitching areas. The Fossil Trace golf driving range is 300+ yards long with 20 turf grass hitting stations and multiple targets 75-250 yards.
A warmup bucket of range balls is included with a paid green fee.
