Starting at 4 years old, Fossil Trace Golf School has a path for every golfer. As our juniors makes their way through the Fossil Trace Trail Map, they’ll develop more in-depth with golf fundamentals and on-course experience.
Many juniors repeat programs, progress to more advanced ones, or take multiple programs simultaneously. Fossil Trace Golf School is careful to ensure all program schedules do not conflict. Please use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for a web browser (Internet Explorer not supported) when registering. If your junior is seeking more individual attention, consider private lessons.
Fossil Trace Golf School’s newest addition, the Operation 36 Academy, is a rapidly growing program backed by years of research. Centered around a structured curriculum, golfers develop and test their skills while tracking progress through the free Op36 app. Learn and play the game with friendly, and expert coaching from Fossil Trace PGA Professionals including Operation 36 Top 50 Golf Coach Nick Borgeson, PGA.
In an 8-week semester, golfers attend 8, hour-long academy classes and 3 on-course tournaments. This program carefully balances skill development with real on-course stroke play.
While Operation 36 caters to a wide range of ability, we recommend that your junior has some entry-level golf experience. This program is great for current PGA Jr League participants to build their skills and scoring abilities. Juniors are encouraged to attend at least two semesters a year to experience best results.

Learn and play the game with friendly, and expert coaching and guidance from Fossil Trace PGA Professionals. The PGA Junior League at Fossil Trace is an opportunity to play golf in a team atmosphere that is fun and inclusive – teams are made of boys and girls ages in 2 groups, 13 and under (13u), and 14-17 (17u). PGAJL provides a structured semi-competitive league environment where players wear numbered jerseys during games. They compete on teams with friends in a 2-person scramble format that encourages partnerships and confidence.
As a developmental league, golf skills certainly vary, but we recommend that your junior has some entry-level golf experience. Within the games of our in-house league, we pair juniors together with similar skill levels; recreational or competitive. During games, the course length is staggered based on skill level.
Registration is completed on pgajrleague.com and runs on a first come, first serve basis to fill the the league. The Summer season consists of 5 practices, 6 “in-house” games, PGA Junior League Team Kit and Fossil Trace Junior Range pass.
Registration for 2023 Summer PGA Junior League is now CLOSED. Look for PGA Junior Fall Registration information beginning June 1st.
