Operation 36 at Fossil Trace

March 12, 2020

Gamified Learning, Incredible Results

Fossil Trace Golf School is excited to announce the addition of the Operation 36 Program for Adult golfers.  Juniors have been enjoying the program for the last four years and we are excited to welcome them back again!  Backed by years of research and tracked through app-based technology, this program touts a comprehensive, well-rounded teaching model. It focuses on teaching juniors how to swing, how to play, and how to practice.

How it Works

1. Play 9 Holes

Playing the game is the best way to learn!  All golfers work to shoot par from 25 yards and work their way out as they pass each level.  This makes everyone feel successful and teaches the scoring mentality.  Coaches will log scores on each golfers’ profile to track their golf development over time.

2. Learn Skills in Fun Classes

We make learning the game feel like a game with our large database of drills and mini competitions.  Golfers will make friends and learn skills in fun engaging classes.  Juniors have so much fun they have no idea they are learning and developing skills!  Each location is equipped with digital planning tools and employ the Op 36 curriculum to ensure you get the most organized program.

3. Train & Track Progress

The Op 36 Mobile App is your family’s guide to playing and practicing outside of classes.  View curriculum, track progress, and communicate with your coach and community.  Golf is a game – it should feel that way!

All playing and training data is sent to your coach automatically to help guide you in your development.  Golfers can learn from educational videos sent by your coach, and see all your goals and journey in one spot.  We believe in connecting parent, coach, and golfer in a motivating and encouraging way!

The program runs for 8 weeks for Juniors and 4 weeks for Adults (called a semester).  In a semester, golfers attend 8 hour-long academy classes and 3 on-course tournaments. This program carefully balances skill development with real on-course stroke play.  While Operation 36 caters to a wide range of ability, we recommend that participants have some entry-level golf experience.

This program is great for current PGA Jr League and Ready For participants to build their skills and scoring abilities.  Juniors are encouraged to attend at least two semesters a year to experience best results.
