Do you offer handicap flags for golf cars?
Yes, we do. We recognize some guests may have physical conditions/restrictions which make it difficult to walk normal distances or slopes while playing golf. The GPS system will be updated to allow for handicap-specific access to the golf course to those who qualify.
Handicapped golf cart privileges may be extended only to qualified individuals who: possess a state issued ID, handicap-parking disability placard, or possess a written medical doctor’s note. One of the three options above must be presented upon check-in at the pro shop.
- Carts must stay on paths when parked at tees.
- Carts may not be driven into roped areas
- Carts may not be driven into the native (non-irrigated) areas.
- Handicapped cart privileges are extended only to players physically challenged, not the additional rider.
- Operators should recognize that certain areas may not be driven on, and round-about routes should be taken to avoid possible damage to sensitive turf areas. When Fossil Trace is operating under a Cart-Path-Only Policy due to abnormal ground conditions that promote safety issues, handicapped cart privileges may not be available.
