Bill Dyrsten joined the Fossil Trace team July 2004 as the Assistant Course Superintendent. His is originally from Princeton, New Jersey but has lived in Colorado since 1978. He and his wife Ann moved here after he graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Bill’s New Jersey golf experience came from working at Bunker Hill Golf Course and Forsgate Country Club during summers while in high school and college.
After moving to Denver, Bill worked at Pinehurst Country Club as the assistant for many years before earning the position of Director of Grounds. He held this position for seven years before the club was sold and he began working as the assistant superintendent at Jim Engh’s award-winning Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia, Colorado. He is committed to bringing together and training a crew that will supply you with “country club conditions at a public course.”
