An Experience Unlike Any Other

As one of the premier destination golf course experiences in Colorado, the Fossil Trace Golf Club professional staff will assist you in the planning and setup of your golf tournament or group outing.  Since the golf course opened in 2003, Fossil Trace has received many accolades and built a reputation as the preeminent venue to host a group outing or golf tournament.

We are celebrated for the memorable Jim Engh-designed golf course, pristine course conditions, easily accessible location, and committed & organized staff. The focus of our tournament model is to partner with your organization or group to create an experience that is easy for you and memorable for your guests.

Tournament and Group Options

All group golf reservations are subject to availability. Fossil Trace Golf Club hosts a limited number shotgun tournaments on Mondays or Wednesdays only. Partial field or modified shotgun starts are unavailable.

Shotgun Start – *All dates for 2023 are SOLD OUT

Tee Time Start – Group outings are available 7 days a week.

Reserve a block of tee times for 25 players or more – group outing package includes green fee, premium cart/GPS, range balls, custom logo tee gift, grab/go breakfast and lunch. Have a smaller group? Book directly on our website for up to 24 players using the “Groups” function.

Group Golf Outings

For groups larger than 24 players

  • Please only fill this form out if you have already downloaded and read the Tournament Guide above and your special event falls within the guidelines. Carefully read the fee structure for scheduling tee times.
  • Group Outings – start time depends on group preference and availability. Foursomes tee off consecutively every 10 minutes.
  • A signed Group Golf Outing agreement is required along with a deposit to secure tee times.

For groups of 24 players or fewer

  • Book directly at fossiltrace.com using the “Groups” function for tee times on and after April 26th until November 4th.
    View Preferred Reservations for fee information.
  • Players may pay individually when they arrive. If players fail to show on the date of play, refunds/rain checks will not be issued, and the full green fee amount will be charged to group coordinator.
  • Personalized cart signs, on-course events, and range setup may complement group tee times.
  • Premium rental equipment, food & beverage services, and merchandise is available upon request for an additional fee.
