Do Great Things. Play Great Golf.

It’s a “Feel Good” Friday

May 9, 2014

Many of us think of a day at the course as just that, another day at the golf course.  The great thing about being at the golf course has sometimes little to do with playing the game, but more about listening to the stories of our guests.  This story has little to do about playing the game, and more about spending time with those we love.

“I would like to thank you for such a great golfing day.  My son who is in the Army and I had a tee time on Thursday March 6 for 11:20. It was his last day before going back to base. He really wanted to play your course while at home. We tried two other days but Mother Nature was not friendly. On the third try we played Fossil Trace. Due to snow the day before we waited for the course to dry. I would like to send out a special thanks to Ryan in the Pro Shop who kept me informed at home on course conditions while waiting. When he called to give me an update I asked him that is there any way that me and my son could play alone not pairing us up with anyone else due to our situation.  Ryan made no promises over the phone, but when we arrived it was just me and my son. I have no idea if Ryan had anything to do with it or just perfect timing, but I thank him.  A day of golf $60.00, a day of golf with my soldier PRICELESS.

Thank you all for such a great golfing day.  Dean and Kyle

We would like to thank you for making Fossil Trace part of your special day.  Your story and others just like it reminds us that golf is so very special. Happy Friday!
